As for the last two colors, I wanted to wear them together. I wore this manicure few weeks ago, and never got around posting it, so today is as good of the day as any.
Base for this was Gosh Copenhagen - Lazy green, murky green crème, that I always wanted to wear with red, but never came around doing this combo. After I finished polishing my nails with Lazy green, I felt like I need something more glamourous. In the back of mine mind there was vague memory of olive holographic polish I did not use forever - La Feme - Unica, Brazilian polish I purchased ages ago from DRKNails.com. Color wise, those two polishes are pretty much the same shade, and it was easy one coat of Unica over Lazy green.
When I'm bored, or without ideas, I go through my stamping plates in search of images that would caught my eye...
Search was over when I came across MoYou London Greek Mythology Collection 08 stamping plate. There are few quite interesting looking images I wanted to use, but could not find appropriate time or color scheme... until now that is.
This plate have some Greek themed head dresses, and I used one of them for top part of the manicure, stamped with Mundo de Unas - Bones.
On the same plate there is the shield, and I used border around it to outline my half moons first with Bone, then in red. I actually used two different reds - Kaleidoscope Stm 08 Red, but my clear stamper does not like Kaleidoscope polishes, and unfortunately, I have really hard time with pick up of them with any of my stampers. Pretty Serious - Santa`s Sunburn was here to the rescue, so you can see where I did not perfectly aligned images... I learned not to sweat the small stuff, so I left it as is - it adds character to it. This is one of the manicures that I would deem ``office appropriate`` and it actually matched colors of my scrubs to perfection!
You can also see my Honeysuckle in full bloom, and blossoms are just a distant memory now...
Thank you for visiting, and I hope to see you soon.
