This was such a great inspiration for a manicure, that could seen better execution... All I could tell this looked much better when I could not seen him up close. His color looked uniformed, but not so much in a photos... I did touch up few spots, but this was really BAD. This is my friends, reason why I love stamping... there is no way this would look that bad if I picked image and stamped it on my nail...
On the better note, I love everything else on this manicure. As a base I used two very similar colored polishes, that reminded me of baked treats.
I used LÒreal - I like it chunky on my ring finger- textured matte glitter polish. I used it last year for a Christmas cookies themed manicure. On the rest of the nails, I am wearing last year's shade from Different dimension - Let your gourd down, and last time I used it, I described it as a pumping pie filling. In this case, it can double up as a gingerbread cookie too. This is gorgeous linear holographic polish, and even though this would not be the color I would pick myself (I got it in grab bag), I am so happy to have it. I just received another grab bag from Different dimensions on Friday, and there were more gorgeousness in. I will share manicures using some of them soon. There is another reason for grabbing those - you are getting nice cross selection at reduced price, but I love absolutely everything from Different dimensions, I actually have a hard time deciding which ones to purchase. I did picked one out of five I purchased on Black Friday. Unfortunately for you, Let your gourd down is not available any more.
My 'trellis' image is stamped using Mundo de Unas - White and Cooi -027 stamping plate. After gingerbread man fiasco, I was not risking it by doing some more freehand.
