First of all, how gorgeous is this purple? It was on my desk for few months, waiting for that perfect manicure to be used for. Purple is Orly - Charged up, easy coverage in two coats. Charged up was perfect background for somewhat nautical themed manicure.
For galley, I used image from MoYou London - Greek Mythology collection- 04. I used different parts of that plate for a different manicures, but this boat was always catching my eye. It was time to use it.
I picked up image with Mundo de Unas - Papyrus, then I filled it in with different polishes. After I applied it on my nails, using small brush and acrylic paint, I added more details (everything in red) and I painted stormy sea. I was never very good with painting in school. I was more of the sketch type, but doing my nails, and trying my hand in freehand nail art, I discovered that I love to paint water. Those soldiers on a galley look so solemn going into a battle under cover of storm and a night...
For some reason, this reminded me of `Game of Thrones`, like it should belong there... Am I the only one that think so?
All topped with fast drying top coat.
