Going thorough my polishes, I came across beautiful red from China Glaze - Satin sheets, and pretty gray with subtle shimmer also from China Glaze - Pelican Gray. Occurred to me that I did not wear this color combo in a very long time, so I went with it. I randomly painted red and gray blocks, and let instinct guide me.
When I started this manicure, plan was to stamp with red stamping polish over gray, and with gray over red. Well, what to tell you... even the best laid plans...
I was uninspired while browsing through my plates, and just could not pick design that I wanted. Strangest thing is, I had no idea what I wanted on the first place.
I looked over to the cup with my brushes, picked up one of my brushes, black and white acrylics, and this happened.
I kind of kept it simple. I guess, I was craving some clean lines, and lines I drew. I found this therapeutic. Thing is, I did this on both of my hands, and loved every minute of painting it. Strangest thing is that my lines looked better drawn with my left hand, than with my dominant right (aka Cindy). I was just too tired to attempt to tame Cindy long enough for a few photos.
Clear rhinestones are from MoYou London, and they came as a gift with purchase.
When I was finished, I sealed all with Seche top coat.
After mess of Halloween and themed manicures, simplicity of this appealed to me to a great extent.
I calling this a sampler, as every nail is different. There is actually a name for this type of manicure - Skittle. Go figure!
I wish you all wonderful day, and hope I will see you again.
