I like to go through my polishes and pick polish from the different spot, so they all would get some love.
This time, I open drawer and picked polish my husband purchased for me almost two years to the date, to cheer me up.
This is Cover Girl - Rouge Red.
I added accent nail using new to me Indie brand LynBDesigns - Here on Earth. Here on earth is very similar flake polish to Parrot Polish - Spectrum Flakes. They look identical in the bottles, and I must really like this particular color combo, to order two almost identical polishes that arrived few days apart...
Even though Here on Earth is predominantly green, and Rouge Red is orangy-red, in my head, they had similar quality of finish, and I thought they will go nice together. This makes so much sense in my head, but I am not sure if it makes sense to you.
Because Rouge Red reminded me on fire too much, I just had to do flames. This flame image is on MoYou London - Rockstar Collection 01 stamping plate, stamped with El Corazon St-01 Black stamping polish. I actually planned to layer this stamp, but liked this just as is, so this time, I skipped layered look. Some days, less is more.
I waned something edgy on my accent nail, so I used another MoYou London plate - Steampunk Collection 02. I stamped image first with the black, then with Winstonia - Silver Bullet using my Clear Jelly Stamper.
All in all, I was pleased with results of this manicure. I love when one of my older polishes get a chance to shine, and Rouge Red did not disappoint.
I think I liked it even more matte. Which one is your favourite?
I hope your week is amazing.
Cheers!
