Now I have Bing Cosby stuck in my head...
For me Christmas is just not a Christmas without snow. Nothing is like waking up Christmas morning and find a white blanket outside...
On that note, I made my own snow - green and gold - of course.
I started this festive look by painting all but my ring finger with Essence - Deep Sea, Baby. We are talking deepest darkest - almost black - green, that for some reason makes me think about pine trees. Pine trees are Christmas trees - see where I was going with this?
Even though I loved deep, shiny green (never used top coat on this one), I needed to use bit of the texture. Texture and sparkles - if we want to be specific. Textured polish is China Glaze - Winter Holly, dark green with flashes of gold and red. I purchased this one last year, and came in the package with Champagne Kisses I used a lot, but year ago, I could not handle texture. Interesting how our taste changes in short period of time. This polish was applied on my ring finger, and as a gradient on the other four.
This was obviously great base for stamping, and I decided to break out my Essie - Good as gold. I wanted to see how it is holding out compared to Maybelline - Bold gold. Jury is out, and I have to let you know that it passed with flying colors. As you can tell, image is crisp, and color wise is shade lighter than Bold Gold.
Image is from MR-02 stamping plate. Image itself is bit on the big side, so I just did random smaller flakes, and stamped it that way. I love, love, love how this all came together...
Thank you for visiting, I hope to see you soon.
