To achieve dry brush effect, you need to remove as much polish off of the brush, first on the neck of the bottle, but I also brush it over paper towel. You really want a minimal amount of the polish left on the brush. You can apply it in uniformed order, or as random as you want, no rules what so ever. You can also use as many polish colors your heart desire...
For this manicure I used OPI - Put a coat on, white base polish, and then I applied polishes in a loose grid pattern. I wanted it to look like a coarse weaved fabric...
Colors I used for dry brush were: Color Club - Je Ne Sais Quoi (mustard yellow), Revlon - Sassy (bright green), Sinful Colors - 24/7 (pink), Orly - Charged up (purple) and Cover Girl - Buxom Blue.
I finished this off with a simple stamping using Kaleidoscope St.-01 Black, and simple leafy image from my new Cici &Sisi 28 stamping plate, that I purchased on half off sale, with additional 15% off... You know me - I can't pass a good deal. I also ordered my first layering stamping plate, and just bidding my time to use it in manicure. I did try it on the paper, and worked fine, but nail may be different...
As it happened that I remembered to take photos of those plates, and here is the plate I used for this manicure.
Without further ado, here is final result...For some reason, this made me think of summer dress...
I wish you all a wonderful week.
Cheers!
