This one kind of developed as I was doing it. I knew I wanted to do gradient, and that was pretty much it... I was browsing through my stamping plates, and this image caught my eye, so I decided to go with it.
On my mid and ring finger I did gradient using NYX - Pastel Yellow, NYX - Coral Sensation and Quo by Orly - Wild Child.
To protect my cuticle while doing gradient, I used Glisten & Glow - Ctrl-Alt-Del cuticle guard.
I topped gradient with China Glaze - Golden Enchantment.
All images I used are on YZW-N01 stamping plate.
I stamped heron image first with Mundo de Unas - Black, then with White. Then I was ready to use one of my newest arrivals from Beautometry.com - Hit the Bottle - It mossed be love. This is gorgeous shade of green with pretty gold shimmer throughout.
Rest of my nails I painted in beautiful Femme Fatale - Emeralda - moss green polish with contrasting pink shimmer. Emeralda applied smoothly, and dried quickly. I thought that looked nice against gradient... Well, we know that I like strange color combinations...
I was really pleased how this came together, and even more pleased when sun came out of hiding for a few minutes, long enough for me to take few sunny photos before it was gone... so I have healthy mix of indoor and outdoor photos for you today, and of course, I had to include a macro of my heron.
What are your plans for a weekend? I plan to rest... as soon as I finish with all of my Cinderella duties...
Yay for a weekend!
