It is a time to remember why we celebrate Christmas, and what is Christmas all about. Christmas is not about presents, even though industry of any kind will try to convince us differently. Christmas is about birth of Jesus, and what that might mean for us.
For me, Christmas is time for family and all about family. It is about warmth of home and being together, and preparing festive meal together, then eating and savouring all the blessing spread on our table... It is talking about Christmases past, and reminiscing about good old times, regardless of how good, or old those days are... It is all about traditions, even if it means that you invent and maintain tradition that is just yours... And again, family being front and center of all of this.
That is reason behind this Christmas manicure.
Beautiful red glittery polish is China Glaze - Ruby Pumps, and photo is not doing any favours to this beauty. Full coverage in 2 thin layers.
I paired it with Ciate - Fit for queen - silver polish over which I did image in led light technique.
Stamp is from Sugar Bubbles SBS-07, stamped with Mundo de unas - Black. I filled image of Mary and baby Jesus with sheer polishes.
For Merry Christmas lettering I used Sally Hansen - Silver Sweep and MR-02 stamping plate.
All finished with Glisten & Glow - HK Girl Top coat.
