Easter and chocolate go hand in hand, and that means I could do a chocolate bunny... But when I say chocolate bunny, not just any bunny - my favourite is Lindor gold bunny...
That is inspiration behind this, but because I do not discriminate against any chocolate, I added some chocolate eggs for a good measure... it is Easter time!
This was a perfect opportunity to use one of my brand new layering stamping plates from Clear Jelly Stamper CjSH-02.
I knew that Clear Jelly Stamper is Canadian, but I had no idea that we live in the same province, some 50 km apart! If I only knew that before!
This is one is my first manicure done with layering stamp, and even though my alignment is not the perfect, I love the results never the less. Now I need to order some more for my birthday next month.
Those plates are user friendly, and even beginner can handle them.
I am not much for a decal making, so this is perfect for the people like me that do not have patience to wait for decal to dry... I smudged, stretched and ruin enough of those to know that I want every plate of mine to have this ability.
As a base, I used Color Club - Macaroon swoon. This is one of my favourite pastel colors, even though I do not wear pastels all that much. This pretty vanilla yellow is base for my Lindor Bunnies.
I stamped solid bunny image using Maybelline - Bold Gold, and then did outline with Esmaltes da Kelly - Tapalina (grey crème). I used bow from the same plate, and I stamped it using Born Pretty - Red stamping polish.
On my thumb, index and pinky, I added some random brush strokes over pastel yellow base using Love, Angeline polishes in: Sky Full Of Wondrous Stars (yellow), Party Pop (Orange) and Amuse Bouches (pink). This was the base for my chocolate eggs, and I used eggs images from the same plate.
Hehehe - just happened that I have some chocolate eggs to use as a prop... which I had to eat as soon as I did this photos.
Cheers!
