Red Carpet base is Plum up the volume - yummy plum shade. I wanted to do some easy freehand on the top, because I needed something pretty to wear to work. In the same time I was short on time (and patience) to do something too elaborate that would give me headache when needed to be done with my non dominant hand.
Easiest thing for me to do freehand are florals, and when it comes to them, I can be pretty ambidextrous.
I prepared nails by gently removing gold stamping first, then I sponged some Kleancolor - Metallic pink for a little bit of shimmery gradient. I used acrylic paints for painting some cherry blossoms - at least they look like cherry blossoms to me.
All sealed with Seche vite - Fast dry top coat for longer wear.
Beauty of this type of manicure is that if you are not soaking your nails in nail polish remover, you can do and redo top of it any way you like it - or until you like it. It was supposed to last you about two weeks, and it probably would, but one of my nails on my right hand met unfortunate end, and I had to remove it sooner.
This reminds me of spring so much, and so appropriate considering weather here. My garden started to wake up, and I can`t wait to use my pretty flowers in photos.
I hope all you will have great day!
