Base is gorgeous OPI - AmazON, AmazOFF that I need to use for something different than chalkboard nail art... Here is quick swatch:
After I took this shot, I proceed in applying coat of Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat. We all know that chalkboards are not shiny - right?!
On the bottom of my nails I painted a line with silver Ciate - Fit for a Queen, that represent metal ledge on the bottom of the chalkboard that holds chalk and erasers...
Using regular white polish (didn't want stark contrast) , I stamped images from Bundle Monster BM-409 for DNA strand, and Born Pretty Store BP-76 for word and tic-tac toe that is barely visible on my middle finger...
I also used watered down acrylic paint to paint "smudged" chalk on the chalkboard, but is almost completely covered up with my eraser...
I made chalk piece out of toothpick painted with white acrylic paint. My eraser is made out of card stock, and I stuck small piece of cotton pad on the bottom for a 3D effect.
It was 'fun' taking photos of this manicure... my sticking out 3D pieces would get in the way, and sun did not help with shadows...
