I am on the fence about this one - I am proud of myself for attempting something like this, and in the same time I am sad that my freehand skills are not quite adequate for this task. I am trying to smother the second one, and bask in the light of the first one - You will never improve and/or grow, if you are afraid to try something new. We all know that I am not a coward! My proportions are little bit off, but practice makes perfect as the old saying goes...
Base for this manicure is beautiful pink by Illamasque - Superstitious. This is my first polish from this maker, and I am pretty happy about it. This bright pink dries to satiny finish, and is absolutely gorgeous on its own. for some reason, firs thought that popped to my mind after application (which was flawless) was - jelly beans! it looked just like pink jelly beans - yum! Just check photo below.
I was feeling bad for covering it up , but you do what you have to do.
I do have plenty of images with the bees on them, but me being me, decided that I need to subject you to another freehand project of mine...
Everything else was done using acrylic colors. This was also a perfect opportunity to showcase more of my garden blooms...
