In all honesty, I've done this one yesterday after work.
I told you that I have received five items, and I had hard time to decide which one to go with first. I wanted to use all five at once.
Choice for today was stamping nail polish in red, item #22179 and you can click on the provided link for easier access. This one is number 5 color choice.
Even though it is lighter on the photos, you can still see how gorgeous it is.
So far, so good. Loving this color. Polish is nicely pigmented, and it is not too goopy as some other stamping polishes I have, and there is no offensive odour, which is added bonus. Next on my list was to see how it stamps. I wanted side to side comparison, and it is easier to do this if it is side by side on the same nail, so we would have same lighting conditions, and that way more accurate comparison. Polish picked up nicely, from thick and thin lines with no problem what so ever, even on my clear jelly stamper that can be picky when it comes to stamping polishes. I was not surprized that this one stamped well over the white - keeping its deep red color, and |
After this little experiment, of course I wanted to do a manicure featuring this beauty. In the same time, I wanted to try my new stamping plate BPL-030 that was sent to me for review. I had this brilliant idea to use them together. That was excellent choice if you ask me.
There is seven different lace patterns on this plate, and I played with one in top left corner. I wanted to use them all, and I am very sure I will use it again in near future. Images are too pretty to pass.
Because I wanted my red polish to stand out, I used almost neutral base color - Elf - Blush metallic rose gold, almost nude polish, that allowed my red to be a star.
