Beautiful base is magnetic polish by Parrot Polish- Heavenly Body. I used it once before, but could not bring up beautiful cat eye effect, so I tried once again. This time I held magnet bit longer, and results were somehow better, but marginally...
I do not have proper magnet, and I am using one that I appropriated from hubby's tool box. I did ordered one from Born Pretty Store, but there may be some waiting involved. Thing is- with my magnet, if I do not hold it long enough, there is no results, and sometimes, if I hold it too long, everything turns dark... I definitely need some serious practice with it.
Regardless my flop with the magnet, this is beautiful polish, and why not enjoying it, with or without cat eye...
I told you that I am embracing simplicity lately, and monochromatic color scheme is also one of those that I am favouring lately.
I stamped with MoYou Nails - Sky Blue stamping polish, and image is from one of my newest requisitions, Creative Shop 02 stamping plate. I got my first Creative Shop stamping plates on the Black Friday sale at Beautometry, and few days later I purchased another two, that are somewhere en route to me... maybe this week I will receive them in the mail...
I am realy taken with them. Size wise they are size of MoYou London stamping plates, and images are just wonderful - unique and very detailed. I just picked simplest of the designs as a test run... and results are more than satisfying. I just removed protective film and stamped perfect image off of the bat! There is nothing more satisfying than that. No prep, no plate clean up and perfect results.
I also did some embelishments - this was done last week, and I wanted it - festive? I don't know. I used some half pearls and caviar beads on my middle finger, and single half pearl on my pinky.
I was pretty happy with the results. I know that I am saying that a lot lately, but I like simplicitiy of stamped shell image and little bit of classy bling next to it...
I also think that what I loved the most was break from the red, green and gold that dominated last couple of weeks...
It is also my first day back to work after 10 days of being at home, so here I am projecting some blues... :P
Just kidding. I hope your week will go well, and I hope my week to go well... never know what to expect first day back...
Thank you for stopping by.
Cheers!
