When I started stamping, there was little deviation in color scheme - there was lots of tone on tone stamping. I am glad I evolved, but it is always nice to see where I started from...
Both polishes I will show you today arrived last week, and I never tried either brand before.
First I will show you my base polish - Madam Glam - Blue Mood, pretty pastel blue. This is two generous coats, and no top coat.
I paired this with Brazilian Indie maker - Esmalte da Kelly - Haltere. Haltere is gorgeous deep blue ultra holographic polish from Nebula collection. This is my first Esmalte da Kelly regular polish, and yesterday arrived another one, but that one is for stamping. Even though this is regular polish, it is highly pigmented, and as you can tell, it stamp like a champ! I only did one coat of Haltere over the Blue Mood.
Image I stamped is also last week arrival. I ordered several new stamping plates from AliExpress.com, and they are mostly Uber Chic Beauty rip-off's, and they haven't been really imaginative with the name - UR Beautiful... I used UR Beautiful -18.
I purchased them because I could, and I was also really curious. They are definitively more affordable than a UC plates, and as a bonus, they came with a hard plastic backing. Only problem is that because of the backing, I can't place them in my holders...
Those plates also arrived super fast (less than 2 weeks since I ordered them), and that earned them some serious brownie points. This is like a lightening speed when it comes to AliExpress. I must of like them a lot, because just to try them, I ordered 13/20 plates. ;D
Quality is surprisingly high, etching is awesome, and I am happy camper. I am also happy that all of my orders arrived - with a looming Canada Post strike, I love my beauties in a safety of my home where they will get lots of love.
