Sharon is one of those wonderful, positive people you want to have in your life. People like that are the one that bring best in you, without diminishing their own worth. She was with me from my beginnings, and her support and encouragement driven me to strive to as good as I can be. Sharon is generous and kind, and I feel lucky to have crossed my path with hers. One day, we will meet in a real life too, and I would be more than happy for Sharon to work her magic on my nails.
This is why this twin nail means so much to me.
Since last time when we given each other the photo from which to recreate manicure, we were planning to do something together again...silly life got into our way...
It is so easy to work with her, and reaching consensus what to do was supper fast.
Both of us like turquoise, and that was easy color choice for both of us. We decided to go with a smoosh technique, as results are always so delightful and unpredictable.
Decision was to use white and gold with turquoise, and to stamp with black.
Both of us had same stamping images, and rest is history...
I went with two turquoise polishes: Quo by Orly - The Blue Box (pale Tiffany blue polish) and I also added some Kaleidoscope st. 17-Turquoise, little bit deeper shade. Latter one is actually stamping polish, but I won't split hairs about it.
White I used is NYC- French White Tip, and for gold I went with a stronger yellow gold - Get Hatched - Painted Nail by Nubar. Smoosh was done over white base.
Images we picked were from UberChic Beauty UC 9-02 - one as a negative space image, and matching single image.
This is how all of this looked when done.
While playing on my mat I had idea to use smoosh as a background for out collage. I just made it bigger, and took a photo of it. My hubby said it reminded him of satellite weather photo...
I wish you all pleasant day, and we will see you soon.
Cheers!
