See, when I was a school girl, by the beginning of the August, I would start longing for the school and being with my friends, and wearing new school clothes... I have pleasure opening brand new book and breath in scent of the fresh ink and virgin paper... I might of be bit geeky at my young age, I surely outgrown it - I must have to. Even though that scent of brand new book still gets me...
For this joyous occasion, I prepared you with some appropriate nail art, even though on the second look they look more somber than joyous.
As a green base, I used OPI - AmazON... AmazOFF - deep forest green crème. As it happens, it seems that I only use it for school related manicures...
Second base I used is Quo by Orly - Power Packed - palest grey crème.
Images I used are from two different plates. Images stamped on my index and middle finger are from MoYou London - Scholar Collection - 02, stamped with Hit the Bottle - As Black as Night. Book images were filled in using a Essie watercolors.
I had to include some brand new books - you know... brand new book scent. I was always a bit of the book worm, and always liked reading - even now, I read as much as I can.
I had to include the thing I hated the most - Book reports. Not because I hated reading or writing, but because my teachers would ask us to dissect the reading material and look for some kind of hidden clues and meanings that couldn't possibly be there. Not every literary piece was written with hidden agendas. I refused to believe this, and that just took out some of the joy of reading.
And nothing is there without science, so some Math, Physics and Chemistry were in order. Out of three, Physics was my least favourite. Those are stamped with Esmaltes da Kelly - Dolly, and images itself are on Born Pretty BP-L064 plate, item #39487. You know that there is 10% discount on all full priced items at Born Pretty Store by using my discount code SHGK31.
I hope your weekend will be great!
