To right this, I dedicated today's manicure to Australia, or to be more precise, this was inspired by Australian aboriginal art.
Color wise, I think I was spot on, and art part is in the eye of the beholder... Let's start from beginning.
Base for this manicure is Color Club - Je ne sais quoi, mustardy yellow polish, that I would never even look at, never mind by on my own. This beauty was actually part of the multi polish set I purchased couple of Christmases ago. It kind of grew on me, one of those ugly pretties I like to collect so much. I used it many times in various manicures, but I never swatched it. Swatching part is something I just started doing, and it is growing on me.
This would be too pretty of the background for a tribal art, and I distressed it using dry brush technique. I applied several polishes until I was satisfied with a look. Next was choosing images I wanted to put on, and I settled on two stamping plates.
Images on my ring finger and pinky are from ZJ02 stamping plate, and that beautiful face (on my ring finger) was reason for purchase of this plate.
Second plate I picked was Bundle Monster BM-XL136, and everything was first stamped with Mundo de unas - Black, and I also added some with Born Pretty red stamping polish number 5, item #22179 recently sent to me for review, and some Born Pretty Gold stamping polish in a small, square bottle.
