You know how much I like those, and also that I am not crazy about Halloween. There was not other choice, but make something fun, something I would not do otherwise. This was not meant to be worn - OK if you are brave, I guess you could wear it to a Halloween party, but I am not sure how much wear you will get out of it...
Just pay attention at that veneer I installed here - I should of been dentist :D. On the second thought, I am glad I am not one...
For dentures, I again used some of Dimension Nails - Notorious 3D nail decorations. This time, I applied them on the tips of my nails to create some more length to my nails, and in same time, to create something that would looked as a fang. I was playing with that idea in my head for a few days, so I gave it a try. It took me try or two, because my nails are not all that thick, and surface to glue the decoration was not that big. In the end, I attached little piece on the under the nail surface, leveled with my nail tip, so fangs would have some more surface to attach themselves, and to give it more stability. I filmed tutorial for this, but accidentally I deleted part where I paint the lips on... I do not mix with technology well... Tutorial will be live during my lunch break, because I kind of have to have a real job to support my crazy hobby...
Over added 3D nail decoration, I applied some liquid latex made by Glisten&Glow - CTRL-ALT-DEL from bottom of my nail to the tip of the fang, to level it all out. This also added some stability to my fangs, and I did not have to fear I will loose the tooth before I take photo or two.
I painted all nails with white base, and at this moment, OPI - Put the coat on is opened on my desk. There is always bottle of white polish handy to use for base/background, and I do not open new one, until old is done. I have way too many open bottles around my working surface, I do not need to add more. Using acrylics, I pained upper lip, and I also added some glitter over the top, for juicy looking vampire mouth. I guess, I captured some female vampire by the tooth!
Over everything, I added a coat of Seche to even it all out. I did not want to put matte top coat over this one, like it shiny as is.
My son volunteered to be my subject for photos, because I needed one hand to take photos with - of course. As you can tell by photos, I did not do any pressure with my vampire dentures, in fear that they will brake off before I even take photo...
Disclaimer: In the making of this Halloween themed manicure, no one was injured, and there was no real blood spilled here...Vampires were safe - this time...
