If you in a market for the gel polishes, Stephanie can mail those to you without any problem.
At the time of the purchase, I did not really noticed that I actually picked Pantone colors of the year - grey and yellow. I purchase couple of shades that I will show you later.
This is Dimension Nails - Swallowtail Butterfly.
On the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat over Swallowtail Butterfly.
There was no need for undies, this baby is bright and so happy on its own.
This polish is available at NailStuff.ca, and you can save 10% by using my one time code SANJA10.
Many times when I paint my nails, I do not put the top coat as I know I will do something over, and that I will cover it up with the top coat then.
Sometimes, polishes can dry out dull, or had uneven surface due to the glitters, and that is the time to top coat for the swatch photos.
It is not a far fetched theory that I will do something that is related to the polish name, and adding the butterflies over this gorgeousness was a natural choice.
Even though this polish is so vibrant, swallowtail butterflies that would come to my garden are much paler. I took numerous photos of them over the years, some really good, and some little bit blurry, as they would fly away as soon as they would detect my movement.
I spent many quiet moments just sitting on my front porch just observing them while they would go from the flower to flower in the search for nectar. From time to time, they would go and do few loops in the air, then back to the next batch of the flowers.
I guess, my garden was once again the inspiration behind the nail art, or almost like that...
Swallowtail butterflies usually visit my garden little bit later, during the Summer, but today I added some tulips with the butterflies I stamped over my nails. I even found last of the yellow tulips in my garden, just to use as a prop here.
Images used are on Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS-50 stamping plate, and I really love this plate. Even though some of the images are pretty big, I had no problem with ones I picked here.
I used several stamping polishes by B. Loves Plates and Hit the Bottle, and silly me did not wrote all the polish names right away, and my memory is not what it used to be.
I hope this bright and sunny manicure will ease you into even sunnier weekend.
Cheers!
