I went with the showy orange ones, even though they were not quite ready when I did this manicure.
I went for the contrast here, and I started with super pretty polish I purchased from El Corazon Shop (in Russia). This is Kaleidoscope - Spring 09.
Not sure about you, but colors like this instantly lift my spirits up.
Over this, I stamped a green pattern from Uber Chic - 16-02 stamping plate, using Maniology - Pine. Not sure why, but this hollow pattern made me think about shamrock. Go figure.
Serene green was is broken with some super bright tulips. It is quite possible that my association of the background pattern with shamrock dictated the whole color scheme, and my use of orange here. I guess, we will never know.
Tulip image is on Moyra plate 26 - Summertime. I picked up image using Konad - Orange Pearl, and filled image using Moyra - SP.12 stamping polish.
Have to admit, I enjoyed this bright, spring look despite outside temperature that was anything but spring like.
In any case, I created my own sunshine, and the spring I was looking forward to.
Have yourself an amazing weekend.
Cheers!
